There are different types of cosmetics. Make up is one of them. Make up is cosmetics such as lipstick or powder or eye shadows applied to the face, used to enhance or alter the appearance. It is usually colored cosmetic applied to the lips, eyelashes, eyelids, etc. from a small solid stick or from a box.
People should always remember that cosmetics is affecting only the appearance of something rather than its substance.
